Redmi Note 4 Launch in India


Xiomi Redmi Note 4, the company’s first phone for India in 2017, launched today. Flipkart has indicated the phone will be exclusive to the e-commerce portal. Xiaomi’s global vice-president Hugo Barra unveiled the new phone in Delhi today. The Tagline for the phone given by the company is “Power has a new look”.  This phone is a successor to the Largest shipped smartphone in India in the e-commerce history, Redmi Note 3. It is having lots of expectations from the users. The vice president of the company claimed that they had sold 3.69 million Units of Redmi Note 3 since its Launch last year.

Redmi Note 4 comes in 3 variants : 2GB RAM and 32 GB ROM for INR 9999,  3GB Ram and 32 GB ROM for 10,999 and 4GB RAM with 64 GB ROM for 12999 only . These prices are really lucrative as far as the Features and specifications are concerned. It comes in the three colors variants Black, Gold and Dark Grey.

The phone will go on sale on 23rd January 2017, 12 Noon exclusively on Flipkart               

Features of Redmi Note 4:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz with an integrated Adreno 506 GPU.The handset comes with a hybrid SIM tray which supports one Nano-SIM and one Micro-SIM or a microSD card. Both SIM cards support 4G network. The company has definitely taken note of complaints of the Redmi Note 3’s 32GB microSD capacity limit. The Redmi Note 4 supports microSD cards of up to 128GB which should be sufficient for most of the users.

The phone comes with a non-removable 4100mAh battery. There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), and a dual-tone LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a fixed-focus lens. Users also get dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n,  USB OTG, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, Miracast, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 and BeiDou. No NFC connectivity. The Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and Nougat update is currently in beta testing.
